“ It's my second time to visit Din Tai Fung. Last time, I had dinner with my classmates and professor in Taipei's store. I remembered their food were all tasty. When I visited Hsinchu's store, I was impressed against since their food were still tasty and quality remained as same as my experience more than years ago in another store. No wonder, it becomes a famous food restaurant in the world. ”
“ The food is delicious and clean except the tofu egg with vegetable tomato soup is less flavour. I love the steam buns with eggyolk. The service is impeccable its quite fast. ”
“ Just to make sure you’re aware of a few things before you read the positive part: -it is very expensive (by ???????? standards) almost all dishes are 300NT plus for a small portion -you need to get there early and wait for a table and there is not a lot of room to wait. Having said that it’s delicious, the service is scarily good, and it’s easily one of the best restaurants in Hsinchu. Having been many times I recommend the xaiolongbao, the prawn and pork dumplings, and the cucumber. The only thing we ordered that wasn’t so good was a crab & shrimp cake. You often find yourself seeing at Din Tai Fung’s version of a normal dish and wondering why it tastes and looks so good. The egg cloud soup is a great example of this, it’s a few eggs, some green veg, and tomatoes in a soup, but it’s really superb. The service is very attentive and the tea is always topped up. Overall a great experience and a guaranteed hit with the family- just take the financial hit and don’t look too closely at the bill afterwards. Strongly recommended. ”

“ Famous and sublime dumpling restaurant Luckily that we have first batch lunch seats during Mother’s Day celebrate. The transparent dumpling skin makes it different and difficulty of making. Also efficiency is an essential ingredient of time management. They try to service you fast and better, but need to clean up fast to serve next as well. Customers love to come and even wait for an hour. The HongKong stores even received one Michelin star⭐. Recommended!! ”
“ Been to din tai fung many times. Always deliciously consistent. They are known for their soup dumplings, but I really think some of their other side dishes are spectacular. The picked cucumbers were perfectly crisp and lightly marinated. The cold beef shanks were some of the best I've had, with lots of tendons within each slice of meat. Their beef noodle soup was also top notch with the tender beef and tendon pieces and flavorful broth. Can't go wrong here. Although it is on the pricey side. Highly recommend. ”
